About Our Office
Our office hours are 8:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We cannot be reached by phone during lunch (12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.), before 9:00 a.m., or after 4:30 p.m.
The North Georgia Neurological Clinic Prescription Policy requires the patient to contact our office during office hours with prescription requests. We will make every effort to respond before the end of the day. Please call at least 48 hours before your prescription runs out. Since your chart must be available for review by the doctor, no calls for prescriptions or re-fills will be taken after office hours.
While our physicians strive to remain on schedule, there may be times when they run behind schedule due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. We understand there may be times when you cannot wait if the doctor is behind schedule. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment if you so desire. Please speak with the receptionist to do so.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours advance notice. North Georgia Neurological Clinic reserves the right to charge a $25.00 no-show fee if you fail to show up for your appointment or if you fail to cancel at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
The patient is responsible to provide NGNC with accurate and current insurance information, and should present insurance card(s) and photo ID at each visit. It is the responsibility of the patient to pay the co-payment and/or any outstanding balances at the time of the visit.
North Georgia Neurological Clinic will file your medical insurance as a courtesy for you. We participate with most insurance companies; however, it is the patient’s responsibility to verify that NGNC is a participating provider in their insurance plan. We currently are not accepting new Medicaid patients.
If your account becomes delinquent, it will be placed with a collection agency. The patient is responsible for reasonable collection costs including attorney fees.
For the treatment of work related injuries involving workers’ compensation, we must have authorization from your workers’ compensation company prior to your visit.
A parent or guardian must accompany minors to their appointments.
We appreciate the opportunity to be your healthcare provider.
